The German entertainment and licensing company Studio 100 International announced three nominations for the Bologna Licensing Awards, set to take place during the Bologna Children’s Book Fair from 8th to 11th April 2024.
One of them is the Best Promotion/Loyalty Campaign. It was created for the retailer LIDL in Austria, Denmark, and Spain in 2023 and 2024. They utilized characters from the TV show "Vegesaurs" for figurines and plush. It has been recognized for its innovative approach to engaging customers and enhancing the retail experience through a creative loyalty program that combines fun, education, and value. It was a joint creation of the company with its license partner L-founders.
In second place, the Best Fashion Project was a collaboration with Bavarian Caps, the creator and fashion retailer that merges traditional styles with modern fashion sensibilities. It celebrates the iconic brand "Heidi" with a memorable collection that evokes a perfect mix of emotions for customers: nature, freedom – pure nostalgia.
Finally, for the Best Licensed Sustainable Project, it was a joint nomination with their business partner License Factory for their commitment to utilizing natural dyes in the production of clothing, aiming to have a profound impact on climate change and our ecosystem. Fitting perfectly into this innovative collection is "Maya the Bee" as the brand ambassador for sustainability.
