Studio 100 International's “Giants of La Mancha” recognized in film festivals

The German-Argentinian co-production was honored at the Children’s Cinema Awards and at the Vancouver International Movie Awards, and has also been nominated at five additional festivals.

Studio 100 International's "Giants of La Mancha" has been honored with several prestigious awards and nominations across various international film festivals. The action-adventure CGI feature film co-produced by Studio 100 International (Germany), GF Films (Argentina) and M.A.R.K.13 – COM (Germany), received a Golden Eagle Statuette for the Best Animated Film (for audiences 12 years old and younger) at the Children’s Cinema Awards (CAA) in Amsterdam.

The German-Argentinian co-production has also won the Best Animation (long feature) prize at the Vancouver International Movie Awards, which celebrates the very best in independent and avant-garde cinema from around the world.



NOMINATIONS
Further to these two great awards, "Giants of La Mancha” has also been nominated at five additional festivals: Tumbleweeds Film Festival for Kids, Salt Lake City, for Feature Film. Beijing International Children’s Film Festival, Beijing, for International Feature. Septimius Awards, Amsterdam, for Best Animation Film 2024 (selected under the title of “Storm Crashers”). World Festival of Animated Film, Varna (Bulgaria), for Feature Film. Hispanic International Film Festival, Delaware, for Animado – Animated (June 2025).

Captivating audiences worldwide, visually stunning, and totally action-packed, the movie directed by Gonzalo Gutierrez and written by Carlos Kotkin ("Rio 2"), follows 11-year-old Alfonso, heir to Don Quixote. Together with his three imaginary rabbits, and joined by Pancho and Victoria, Alfonso embarks on a journey to save their beloved hometown somewhere in La Mancha from a huge storm. Studio 100 Film is managing global sales for “Giants of La Mancha”.
