Conecta Fiction & Entertainment, the largest international forum dedicated to the co-production of scripted series for television between Europe and America, has officially begun in Toledo. The event’s sixth edition is also open to the entertainment genre for the first time. Over the next three days, the event will offer the professional attendees a program with almost sixty activities, including pitching sessions, panels, talks, workshops, keynotes, and presentations. The Palacio de Congresos El Greco will be the venue for them, with Spain as the focus country this year.

The initiative is part of BTF Corporate Venture Capital, a private capital investment fund promoted by the company to benefit the industry. This new initiative, “BTF Acceleration,” will select five of the 31 projects presented in Conecta to become strategic allies while accompanying their realization. The maximum endowment provided for this fund is 500,000 dollars, which will be distributed among all the winning projects on a case-by-case basis.
