Content Budapest announces the finalists of its Series Pitch 2023

Fourteen projects from across Central and Eastern Europe will form part of the competition. The winner of a US$20,000 prize will be announced at the event.

C21 has announced the finalists for the Content Budapest Series Pitch 2023 with 14 projects shortlisted to pitch live at Content Budapest, kicking off the first day of the event on 27 June. The 14 finalists from across European countries, such as Ukraine, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Israel and Turkey are all established drama creators bidding to attract additional finance and coproduction partners.

The Series Pitch competition will bring C21’s tried-and-tested pitch format to Central and Eastern Europe, and will award the winner a prize of US$20,000 worth of marketing to support development and pre-sales promotion of the show. The winner will be announced at the event.

The list includes "Alchevsky's Mystery" by LLC Ideas Bank, "Ukraine Chopin" by MMC Fiction and Balassa Films in Hungary, "Running in Heels" by Pace Colour, from Lithuania, "PartyZanky" by Film UA from Ukraine, "Fata Morgana" by Oble Studios from Hungary, "Boring as Hell" by Ausma Media from Latvia, "The Border" by Film.UA and Drugi Plan from Hungary, "Soul Sucker" by Dori Media for Israel, "The Dissection" by  May Productions from Turkey, "Odin’s Eye" by United Heroes from Ukraine, "Rumbarumbamm" by Proton Cinema from Hungary, "Babyland" by AGITPROP from Bulgaria, "Cold" by Magic Film from Lithuania, and "Undercover Gladiator" by Starlight Media from Ukraine.
