Content Canada confirmed the dates of its Digital Summit that will take place between September 21 and October 1, featuring weeks of compelling sessions and interactive events. The online event will include master classes and chats, along with a curated development market for Canadian producers, and a full roster of live buyers’ briefings and workshops featuring Canadian and international industry executives.

This year’s Digital Summit will also feature the inaugural Rocket Forum, in partnership with the Shaw Rocket Fund, that will take a deep dive into the state of the Canadian kids’ media industry. The Rocket Forum will offer dedicated sessions, briefings, roundtables and professional development workshops for producers and executives working in the kids’ space.

All Digital Summit content and virtual market access opportunities are being offered free of charge to delegates by registering at www.contentcanada.net. The full schedule of sessions and live briefings will be announced in the coming weeks.

“We are proud to be offering our exciting content and market access opportunities free of charge again this year, and can’t wait to announce the full line-up for the Digital Summit”, said Ferne Cohen, Content Canada’s CEO. “We felt it was important to adjust our launch by one day because of the federal election, and encourage our Canadian community to get out to vote.”

Content Canada’s Digital Summit will welcome back its founding partners: Bell Media, CBC, Canada Media Fund, Lionsgate, Rogers Group of Funds, and Corus Entertainment, along with new and returning partners for the 2021 event.
