As part of the agreements reached during London TV Screenings 2024, UK's Cineflix Rights has teamed up with the British production company Spark Media Partners to become the new global distribution home for the series "Château DIY" and its spin-off brand "Château DIY: Living the Dream."

Richard Life, SVP of Acquisitions and Co-Productions, Cineflix Rights, who brokered the deal, praised the brand: "'Château DIY' is one of the most sought-after renovation brands out there, providing high quality and volume to buyers looking for a consistent performer with strong audience recognition for their schedules. We are delighted to be partnering with Spark Media to become the new global distribution home for the show."

Tim Mutimer, CEO of Cineflix Rights, placed the agreement within the framework of the company's portfolio: "We are delighted to be adding such a strong series to our portfolio. 'Château DIY' perfectly fits our strategic goal of offering the international market a returning series of proven hits and complements our other long-running brands such as 'Property Brothers' and 'Mayday: Air Disaster.'"

"Château DIY" (Seasons 1-7, 209x60', Spark Media Partners for Channel 4, UK) follows courageous château owners as they tackle monumental renovation projects and transform worn-yet-wonderful castles across France. From first-time buyers to seasoned homeowners with grand expansion plans, each episode serves up extreme highs, devastating lows, and jaw-dropping reveals. "Bridgerton" star Adjoa Andoh narrates recent series.

On the other hand, the spin-off "Château DIY: Living the Dream" (8x60', Spark Media Partners for More 4, UK) revisits eight homeowners to celebrate their fairytale journeys as they breathe new life into rundown castles across France. From the very first day of demolition through their ambitious supersize renovations and beyond, the series showcases their everyday lives as they open their homes to paying guests, host large-scale events, and learn that it can take a village to run a castle.
