MEGA MAX MEDIA is an independent television operator created in 2007 in Slovakia, whose flagship linear channel ducktv is distributed by the main pay TV platforms, streaming services and CTV in more than 150 countries, reaching more than 180 million homes. Its high-quality, original and exclusive “edutainment” content is developed internally under the supervision of child psychologists, and is designed to help children develop their cognitive, visual and auditory abilities, as well as to stimulate their emotional and intellectual development. “Ducktv's programming philosophy uses the latest innovations in the development of cognitive abilities and offers content that has a positive emotional and educational impact on young viewers,” commented Iza Piotrowska, Director of Affiliate Sales and Business Development at MEGA MAX MEDIA.

Ducktv's content is aimed at toddlers, preschoolers and their parents, encouraging co-viewing. “Our content has short episodes with colorful but gentle graphics and sooth music, plus adorable and charming characters that explore a variety of topics through songs, rhymes, fun stories and activities for both children and parents to enjoy,” said Piotrowska. “Most of the content is non-dialogue, so localization is not necessary,” she added. The executive also explained that ducktv's programming spectrum moves through a wide-scale: from easily watchable figurative animations to mini-cartoon series and real-life shows produced in 4K technology. “The channel features original animations, soothing music and a language-free approach. The carefully curated educational content provides a secure and enriching environment for children, making it an ideal choice for both in-home and on-the-go viewing experiences,” Piotrowska detailed.

NEW HORIZONS
Ducktv's content is produced in-house, both animation and music, and wants to make its way into Latin America with content for families who want to spend quality time together. “We always strive to provide a positive emotional and educational impact to our little viewers through our well-known global brand in the preschool content space,” said the Director of Affiliate Sales and Business Development at MEGA MAX MEDIA. “The language-free approach makes content available 'out of the box', with no localization required and distribution rights are available worldwide, be it Pay TV, FTA, FAST, S/T/A/VOD, and we can also license content to third-party channels and streaming platforms,” the executive explained.

Ducktv has four seasons of “Ducky” that can resonate very well in Latin America, in addition to other original shows. “Ducky Adventures” is a new series that brings to life the figure of the ducktv brand. Through Ducky's everyday adventures, families and children learn about the daily activities of young children in an entertaining way, while developing the thinking and observation skills of young viewers. “Ducky Adventures” (Season 2) contains stories that were created with the support of child psychologists and teach little children to manage their emotions and help them resolve conflicts, while developing their thinking and observation skills. In “Ducky and Friends,” the protagonist ducky shares the fun with his friends, teaching toddlers to play well with their friends without arguing and to adapt during mutual play. “Ducky and Fluffy” introduces a new member of the family, his little brother, with whom Ducky experiences a wide range of new emotions and finds himself in new situations.

Ducktv also created “Toby McFly”, a pilot dog who enjoys traveling in his small plane and showing the world from above and then landing and carefully examining the things he has seen from above. The show teaches children different perspectives of vision and develops their thinking and observation skills. “Lola and the Numbers” helps children learn numbers and counting; “Planet Jumpers” is a series set in space that, through the daily lives of two brothers, reveals very unusual planets and “Milo Dino” brings the little ones closer to dinosaurs and the Mesozoic era, in addition to showing the daily life of preschool children.
