The sixth edition of MIP Cancun, the only dedicated TV content market for Latin American and US Hispanic audiences, will take place from 20-22 November 2019, with pre-opening on 19 November, at the Moon Palace Resort, Cancun, Mexico.

Patricio Wills, President of Televisa Studios, where he has spearheaded and led a reorientation of the media conglomerate’s scripted endeavors, will deliver a keynote speech at MIP Cancun 2019. During the course of this keynote, Wills will provide a scorecard of the past year and unveil his production objectives for 2020, including those done under Televisa’s Fabrica de Sueños banner.

Wills began his career in 1978 at RTI Television where he started as Production Manager to become, President and shareholder of the company.  With the advent of private channels in Colombia, RTI Television had to transform and strategically plan the areas of opportunity that would allow to internationalize the development of content and its productions. The dedication, vision and strengths of Wills, led him to consolidate a partnership with Telemundo, later with Univision and finally with Televisa.

Wills is the visionary and creator of a number of series aimed at audiences in the Latin American, Hispanic market in the United States, as well as countries in Asia, Europe and Africa. In 2016 Univision Communications and Patricio partnered to bring to life WSTUDIOS, a company dedicated to the generation and production of cutting-edge series for the Hispanic audience of the United States. In early 2018, Wills was appointed President of Televisa Studios, where with his vision and experience he created among others, the concept "Dream Factory", through which the public can see the most endearing telenovelas of Televisa in a new format and with world-renowned talents. Wills, with more than 30 years of experience in international content production, is one of the most recognized executives in the Spanish industry.

Alberto Ciurana is a television executive currently working as Chief Content & Distribution officer of TV Azteca since October 2017. Previously, served as President of Programming and Content for Univision Networks, where he oversaw programming for the entertainment broadcast and cable networks of Univision Communications Inc. Ciurana moved to Univision after working as
VP of programming for Televisa for 15 years.
