MIPTV 2023: Autentic Distribution to launch over 120 hours of new factual content

Autentic Distribution is heading to MIPTV with over 120 hours of new factual content added to its Spring Slate, including a brand-new History series by Autentic Production and several blue-chip Wildlife titles by Terra Mater Studios. The Current Affairs line-up includes two titles examining the war in Ukraine, "Against All Odds" explaining why and how Ukraine managed to withstand the first months of Russia’s war of aggression, and the documentary "Weaponized Wheat", which highlights the many reasons why this war threatens the global food security.

For its Wildlife slate, Autentic Distribution has secured the rights to Terra Mater Studios’ portfolio and has added the internationally acclaimed production company’s latest Wildlife & Nature films to their spring line-up, including "Soul of the Ocean", "The View from on High", "Alien Contact" and "The Hummingbird Effect."

The Factual Entertainment series "That Crazy Italian Farm" follows the life and work of the Gomieros, a Venetian family of farmers and breeders. A second new Factual Entertainment Series, "A Farm of our Own" accompanies eight couples from Germany who are taking on the challenge of making one’s life better with a piece of land. Autentic Distribution also added new Science & Technology titles to its line-up, including "Engineering Extreme – Rehauling a High Speed Train", and "Hormones Have No Gender".

"The Kingdom of Jordan" invites the audience to discover a country between tradition and modernity. "Hidden Beauty of Spain" shows the most beautiful sides of Spain, "Women above the Clouds", courageous female pilots who conquer their freedom in the world's most remote regions.

From Autentic’s production unit, three documentary series enhance the History slate: "A Cold War of Spies", "Deadly Science" and the third season of "What Went Wrong". Other new History titles added to the slate include "Hitler's Displaced War Children", and "Caral – Sacred City in the Andes".

Autentic Distribution’s MIPTV slate also features programs currently in development and production that are available for pre-sale and in search of additional partners like "The Invention of Surgery", and "Mission Saving Paradise – Expedition to the Last Treasures of the Indian Ocean."
