MIPTV 2023: CJ ENM’s formats select as Fresh TV fiction for The Wit

CJ ENM has recently received great recognition for its high-quality content at MIPTV 2023. Three of its formats, "Duty After School", "The Time Hotel", and "The Wooing Choir" have been selected for by The Wit for its Fresh TV sessions.

Produced by Korea's leading scripted TV studio, Studio Dragon, "Duty After School" is about a class of high-school students forced to join the army in order to fight against an alien invasion. As the series is the remake version of a famous Korean webtoon with the same title, "Duty After School" has set a record for the highest number of paid subscriptions in its first week in the history of No. 1 K-content streaming platform TVING.

Officially premiered via CJ ENM-launched OTT platform TVING on April 12th, time is the only currency used in "The Time Hotel." Everything in this hotel can be bought with time instead of money, and guests are checked out once they run out of time. Another CJ ENM’s format to be in the Fresh TV Formats session is "The Wooing Choir", a fierce competition of underdogs looking for love, singing to woo their way into one’s heart.
