The Principality of Monaco will host the first edition of the Monaco Streaming Film Festival (MCSFF), which will take place between July 3 and 6, before the Cannes Film Festival. The event, dedicated to recognizing the role of the streaming industry, will be held in the event space of the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo. The show will also be broadcast virtually worldwide, allowing access and participation by international content creators and enthusiasts.
With the support of the Fondation Princesse Grace, the Global Environnement Movement Association (GEMA), leading Hollywood streaming studios, and Netflix founder Mitch Lowe, the MCSFF will aim to recognize productions and short films created by streaming platforms. as well as the leaders and talents that move the industry.
Among the activities scheduled for the four days that the show will last, the launching and screening of films, panels in the form of TED Talks, with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak as one of the main speakers, and a grand gala awards will celebrate film, media and technology personalities.
