“The Medalists”
The Portuguese OPTO SIC series "The Medalists" and "The Good Girls Club" have once again been awarded at the World Media Festivals 2025, a prestigious global competition recognizing excellence in the audiovisual industry. Both series are available on OPTO SIC and Prime Video streaming platforms, where audiences can discover these stories that have just won international recognition.
The first season of "The Medalists", produced by SP Televisão, won two major awards: the Intermedia-Globe Grand Award and the Intermedia-Globe Gold in the Children & Youth: Entertainment category. The series stood out for its original, sensitive, and impactful approach to younger audiences, exploring the backstage of the competitive world of youth Olympic sport.
The fourth season of "The Good Girls Club", produced by Santa Rita Filmes, was awarded the Intermedia-Globe Silver prize in the Entertainment: Series – Drama & Melodrama category, consolidating its position as one of the most relevant Portuguese drama productions of the moment, with seven seasons now streaming.
