SELECTED PROJECTS
The selected projects are "Deconstruction" (Bulgaria) - Plamena Velkovsky; "To The Movies!" (Bulgaria) - Kristian Stoichev, Boris Rachev and Boris Krastin; "You have to live somewhere" (Croatia) – Sanja Milardović; "Rainbow" (Serbia) – Srđan Anđelić; "Wonderful" (Serbia) – Isidora Veselinović, Katarina Mitrović and Vladimir Tagić and "Dert" (Serbia) – Katarina Krstić.

“The script development workshop and competition 'Make the scene!' is a project we are very proud of, and we are especially honored that it will experience its first edition at Pula Film Festival, to which we are grateful for its partnership and hospitality. The response of creative people from the entire region is great, the number of applications we have received is impressive, as well as the quality and variety of projects by genre. This has made the selection process challenging for us, but that is why the final pitching before the expert jury on July 17 in Pula will be a real creative celebration. The best of the six finalists will receive a monetary prize of 10,000 euros and the opportunity for further development and production of the project with United Media. 'Make the scene!' is an excellent platform for screenwriters and producers to launch quality projects, and for United Media as well, which as a production leader wants to further encourage and strengthen the creative industry in the region. I am convinced that it will have many editions and give momentum to many valuable projects, but also that we will always remember this premiere in Pula in a special way”, said Nataša Buljan, director of script development at United Media.

Participants will have the opportunity to take part in workshops under the mentorship of Greek screenwriter Nicos Panayotopoulos, the author and co-author of numerous award-winning screenplays for short films, television series and feature films (“Truants”, 1996, “My Brother and I”, 1998, “False Alarm”, 2000, “The King”, 2003, “Totally Married” 2003, “The Wake”, 2006).
