SXSW2025: Tokyo Broadcasting System will launch an exhibition at the event

TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System) will launch an exhibition at South by Southwest 2025 (SXSW 2025), the world's largest convergence conference & festival, to be held in Austin, Texas, USA, from March 7 (Friday) to 15 (Saturday). This will be the third consecutive year since 2023. SXSW is a large-scale event held every March that combines a music festival, film and TV program screenings, exhibits of the latest technology, and contests, and has the aspect of a trade show for the entertainment industry. SXSW dedicates itself to helping creative people achieve their goals.

TBS brings its globally popular content to SXSW, featuring SASUKE/Ninja Warrior, Toilet-bound Hanako-kun Season 2, and the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25. Participants can experience these highlights and more through an interactive booth showcasing TBS's latest technology.

Let’s take a closer look at what the exhibition is all about. On one hand, we have the SASUKE/Ninja Warrior Metaverse Wonderland. This immersive experience invites participants to aim for total victory by diving into AR/VR experiences that blend top TBS shows with cutting-edge technology. Visitors can engage with the thrill of SASUKE/Ninja Warrior's 1st Stage in VR, while exploring new adventures with the latest VR headsets. Additionally, they can see Mr. SASUKE, Katsumi Yamada, in AR. Furthermore, the original goal button used on the show will also be available at the booth. It’s important to note that SASUKE/Ninja Warrior has aired in over 165 countries and has been locally produced in 25 countries and counting! Don’t miss the chance to experience this globally loved TBS content.

On the other hand, there’s the Toilet-bound Hanako-kun Interactive AR. Visitors can experience and interact with the world of the popular TBS anime, which is streamed on Crunchyroll, particularly Toilet-bound "Hanako-kun" Season 2. One exciting feature is the opportunity to befriend Mokke in a special interactive AR experience. The exhibit offers more than just interaction; it includes photo opportunities, games, and a fully immersive experience that brings the anime’s world to life.

Additionally, TBS is showcasing the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25. Set to take place from September 13-21 at the Japan National Stadium, this event will be broadcast by TBS, which is a World Athletics Media Partner and Principal Supporter. TBS will engage in various activities to highlight the value of athletics to audiences worldwide, making this a must-see for sports fans and technology enthusiasts alike.

Finally, Live Multi Studio will also be featured at the exhibition. Developed in collaboration with WOWOW, a satellite TV station in Japan, Live Multi Studio is a video transmission software that can send both video and control signals. Thanks to its superior technology, it provides ultra-low latency and stable video transmission, offering visitors a demonstration of the future of live broadcasting.
