Annual Saturn Awards
The 52nd Saturn Awards show was filled with excitement last February 2, as A-list celebrities arrived to celebrate the very best in genre entertainment, an event commemorated only by The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror since its inception in 1972. Hosted for the third consecutive year by actor and comedian Joel McHale ("Animal Control"), the event was well attended by Hollywood stars who came out to celebrate and honor the exceptional body of work and talent in these often-overlooked entertainment categories.
Additionally, in light of the devastating fires and the urgent need for community support, the Academy utilized this year’s platform to provide viewers nationwide and attendees with information on how to donate and aid in the rebuilding efforts in Los Angeles. Fans were able to watch LIVE the show on The Roku Channel and ElectricNOW, the premium OTT app and FAST channel from Dean Devlin’s Electric Entertainment.
