Wild Bunch TV heads into the international market with a carefully curated portfolio that highlights high-impact productions led by strong female characters. As Diana Bartha, Head TV Sales & Acquisitions at the company, puts it: “It’s very important for us to have a small handpicked curated but catalog which travels.”

One of the main highlights is "Escort Boys Season 2", which had its international launch on Amazon at the end of August and was selected for Cannes Series. “The show is very tender and very female, empowering, very visually strong… Each episode tells a story of a specific woman and her relationship with herself, her body, age or other empowering topics. This is not only shaking the boundaries but also opening up questions very relevant today,” Bartha explains. She adds that despite PRIME exposure, the show is already performing strongly in linear sales.

Another key title is "Single Bells", a Christmas romantic comedy from De Mensen (TF1 Studios). “It has really nice contemporary vibes… absolutely hilarious. This is typically the type of show we buy because it can work very well as an original and also as a format, and it has already been extremely successful in Germany,” she notes. The title has already been sold in the UK, US and Australia for Christmas premieres, with further opportunities expected for both original runs and local adaptations.

Wild Bunch TV is also set to distribute "El Clan Olimpia", the Spanish Disney series produced by Tornasol Media. Starring Zaira Romero, the “prestige crime thriller” is based on true events from 2003 and follows a young mother who, after her husband’s cancer diagnosis, is forced to support her family and gets pulled into the world of drug trafficking. “It’s a very spectacular show… a 'Breaking Bad' story led by a very strong female character. We like it because it resonates internationally and it’s ready now to be screened and bought,” Bartha highlights.

With a compact yet diverse lineup, Wild Bunch TV’s strategy is to stay true to its DNA while addressing market demands. “We have a small but diverse catalog, we listen to the buyers… if they want cozy crime or whodunit, we also buy our shows for them,” Bartha says.

When it comes to territories, German-speaking markets are showing the strongest appetite. “Right now, German territories are reopening, with great appetite for female-driven shows. That’s why it is very important for us to build a universal European catalog that not only has our DNA, but also travels well internationally,” she concludes.
