Wild Bunch TV to manage sales for “The Rope” TV series

The title, produced by Les Films in collaboration with Arte France and Versus Production, will be presented at Series Mania 2021 and Coming Next, held by TV France International.

Wild Bunch TV has taken on the task to handle global sales for "The Rope TV," produced by Les Films.  The title will make a global debut at Series Mania 2021 and during Coming Next, hosted by TV France International. 

 Produced by Les Films de l’Instant and co-produced by Arte France and Versus Production, "The Rope" is co-written and directed by Dominique Rocher, featuring an international cast consist of rising new creatives. 

"The Rope" is making its worldwide premiere at this year’s Series Mania and will be screened in its entirety on 31 August, and is also part of Coming Next From France, TV France International's selection of new fiction series with strong remake potential. The series will be broadcast on Arte during the 1st half of 2022.

Directed by Dominique Rocher, the series cast features Suzanne Clément Jakob Cedregren, Richard Sammel, Jean-Marc Barr,  Jeanne Balibar alongside rapidly rising young talents Christa Théret, Tom Mercier and Planitia Kenese. The show follows a small group of scientists on a remote base in Norway uncovers a mysterious rope, apparently endless, skirting their observatory and disappearing into the vast expanse of surrounding forest. Some will follow it, others will remain. As the initial fascination transforms into a quest to unravel the mystery, all will be confronted with the life-changing consequences of their choices.
