Ken Lorber, President and CEO of The Kitchen International explained the new measures for all the international studios of the company.
In the third year of The Kitchen International and the nineteen as The Kitchen studios, the Award Winning language localization company is facing the coronavirus times in a serious way. Ken Lorber, President and CEO of The Kitchen International expressed: "These are very trying times for everyone on our team, our clients, friends and colleagues. The most difficult aspect is not knowing what to expect from the COVID-19 Virus. What we do know is that the number of people being affected will increase and some will, indeed, get sick".
The executive remembered the main guidelines to combat the pandemic as washing the hands thoroughly and regularly or clean all surfaces that people touch, even down to the elevator buttons and door handles. "Most importantly, avoid any large gatherings. Many restaurants and clubs, movie theatres, Broadway and thousands of productions worldwide, have already closed down and more will follow shortly." added.
TIMES TO ADAPTING
Lorber said that fortunately, each of the individual Kitchen locations are relatively small, with relatively few team members on staff that need to work from the studios. "We have instituted a work at home program for all who are capable of working at home. Obviously, there are those who need to be at work in order to accomplish their day to day duties. Our clients are depending upon it and our goal is to stay ahead of things." explained. "These are very stressful times, but they will pass. The more diligent you are today, the better the chances are that you will avoid the disease completely. Stay safe and be well."
