But even before all votes have been cast and voting lines have been closed, the reality TV host interrupted Globo’s regular programming to make a very special announcement: 'Big Brother Brasil 20' had just set an all-time record in its history. The trio disputing the two final spots on the show’s tenth eviction night had already attracted 1 billion votes this afternoon, just a little over thirty hours after voting lines had been open. The huge numbers of votes cast so far has set a breaking record never achieved before in the Big Brother franchise.
"Thank you very much for this unprecedented voter participation on this unimaginable eviction day. We will meet later in a historic episode and on a historic eviction night. And keep on casting your votes,” said the thrilled host, inviting viewers to join him on the show tonight.
'BBB20' is directed by Rodrigo Dourado and hosted by Tiago Leifert. The show is broadcast from Monday to Saturday, right after telenovela ‘Fina Estampa’ (Looks & Essence) and on Sundays, after the variety show ‘Fantástico.’
