Telefe and Pluto TV premiered "Gran Hermano" (Big Brother), the most successful reality show in the world, hosted by Santiago del Moro. Audiences were introduced to the 18 participants who have come to play in one of the most famous houses on TV. Exclusive to Pluto TV users, they can follow everything that happens at the show 24 hours a day.
The spectacular debut of "Gran Hermano" achieved a 65.23% share and 21.46 rating points, leading its time slot by a wide margin. Shares peaked at 11:41 p.m. with 73.10%, while ratings peaked at 11:39 p.m. with 23.22 rating points. These stats transformed the show into the most-watched title of the year on Argentine television.
On social media, #GranHermano and #GH2022 were trending on Twitter, with more than 366 thousand Tweets and over 27.6 million impressions, leading the conversation throughout the day. In addition, it exceeded 11.7 million total Video Views, while the Gran Hermano microsite on Mitelefe.com received 132 thousand users, generating more than 72 thousand Video Views.
This edition of "Gran Hermano" is hosted by Diego Poggi and Juariu on digital platforms YouTube and Twitch. Last night during the premiere, the simultaneous transmission on YouTube reached 49 thousand live users, while on Twitch, the stream accumulated more than 31.5 thousand unique viewers.
After a ten-year hiatus, Telefe re-opened the doors of the most famous house and presented the 18 candidates that aim to win 15 million pesos. This new edition of "Gran Hermano" has a team of analysts comprised of Laura Ubfal, Gastón Trezeguet, Sol Pérez, Nati Jota, and Ceferino Reato, who will collaborate with host Santiago del Moro to share their perspectives and interpretations of each stage of the game and the strategies of each participant.
Audiences can watch the challenges and the analysts’ perspectives on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In addition, the Gran Hermano participants will nominate each other on Wednesday. The public will decide the fate of the nominees, and one of them will be eliminated on Sundays. The participant who is eliminated and leaves the house will have an intimate chat with Santiago del Moro on Monday night.
On Fridays, there will be the "Gran Hermano" party, and on Saturdays, "La Noche de Los Ex," hosted by Roberto Funes Ugarte, will feature contributions from some of the most memorable participants from previous editions: Ximena Capristo, Gustavo Conti, Diego Leonardi, Nadia Epstein, and Cristian U.
