Banijay Rights brings "MasterChef" back to Argentina

Argentinian broadcaster Telefe will produce and broadcast "MasterChef Argentina" this year as part of a multi-season commitment.

Banijay Rights, the global distribution arm of content powerhouse Banijay Entertainment, announced a significant deal for the return of global cookery hit "MasterChef" in Argentina. Argentinian broadcaster Telefe will produce and broadcast "MasterChef Argentina" this year as part of a multi-season commitment. This new season builds on the success of the series that first aired in the territory eleven years ago and has led to three iterations, including "MasterChef Junior" and "Celebrity MasterChef."

The deal was brokered by Michelle Wasserman SVP Latam, US Hispanic & Brazil, Banijay Rights, who said: “'MasterChef' is a truly global phenomenon, so to partner with Telefe once again is both a great honour and a clear reflection of our commitment to the audience. With new twists for viewers to enjoy, Telefe will provide the perfect platform to celebrate Argentina’s incredible culinary talent.”
