WarnerMedia announced the appointment of Katrina Cukaj, currently Head of Marketing, Creative and Network Partnerships, to Lead of Ad Sales and Client Partnerships. A respected and established leader with over 20 years of diverse sales experience, she will now oversee the go-to-market sales team and their consultative and solutions-oriented relationships with agencies and clients.
Cukaj’s team of talented sales strategists will continue to unlock a myriad of opportunities for advertisers across all consumer touchpoints within the vast WarnerMedia Entertainment and News ad-supported ecosystem. This includes the anticipated ad-supported HBO Max offering launching this June. She will continue to report to JP Colaco, Head of Advertising Sales.
Cukaj replaces Joe Hogan, who after 30 years with the company has decided the time was right to pursue his next challenge. During his time, Hogan held a variety of sales and business development leadership roles in such cities as Atlanta, Hong Kong, Chicago, and New York.
“I feel confident the moment is right to pursue fresh possibilities and pass the baton to a new, capable sales leader in Katrina. We have worked together for a number of years and I look forward to cheering them on as both she and the sales team innovate and excel on behalf of our customers,” Hogan said.

I know she will infuse the spirit of collaboration into every initiative and wield her passion for WarnerMedia’s history of iconic storytelling to propel our sales organization and our partners into the bright future,” he added.
Meanwhile, Cukaj declared: “The last two decades at WarnerMedia have equipped me with the vital experiences to guide our team and our clients through this pivotal moment in our industry, as the market itself and consumer’s needs rapidly evolve. We are inducting a new generation of consumers, whose palates will be whetted only when the power of world-class storytelling franchises and innovative technology combine. It is exciting to know that our team is collaborating to build experiences that give advertisers a pathway to serve those consumers with relevant and resonate brand storytelling”.
Cukaj currently serves as a board member of MAKERS, She Runs It and the American Advertising Federation (AAF), and is also Executive Sponsor of Women of WarnerMedia, an internal business resource group at the company. She was honored as one of AWNY’s 2016 “Advertising Working Mother of the Year,” as well as an Ad Age “Woman to Watch” in 2013.
As Cukaj steps into her new role to lead ad sales for WarnerMedia, she will continue to oversee marketing, creative and network partnerships until a replacement is announced.
