Univision Noticias Digital was awarded with the National Edward R. Murrow Award

 Univision Noticias received an Edward R. Murrow award for its "Univision Noticias Digital" portfolio. “This award strengthens Univision Noticias’ commitment to bringing our audience and community reliable, accessible, and trustworthy news across all platforms. I am proud of our news team -anchors, correspondents, producers, writers, editors, and other crew members – who continue to maintain our excellence as a news organization," said Leopoldo Gomez, Univision Noticias President.

 This is the second consecutive year that the digital version of the award-winning news division of TelevisaUnivision has received the award. “We are honored to receive this award for a second consecutive year,” Gomez said.

The winners were selected from more than 5,200 entries this year and will be celebrated at the Edward R. Murrow Awards Gala on October 10 in New York City. “The recognition of our portfolio demonstrates the passion behind our journalism,” said Jose Angel Gonzalo, Sr. Director and Managing Editor for Digital News. “Our stories, journalists, and core vision are dedicated to servicing our communities by keeping them informed.”
