Boat Rocker, a Canada based global entertainment company, has unveiled a deal with cross-genre, international TV production business Shark Teeth Films for three exciting new unscripted series. The agreement will include a fourth instalment of the globally popular series "Secrets in the Ice" (10x60’); a new show about the effects of extreme weather and what is left exposed, "Discovered by Disaster" (10x60’); and a documentary series that explores unusual discoveries made in the darkest places on earth, "Secrets in the Dark" (10x60’). Boat Rocker is already in advanced negotiations with key European broadcasters for pre-sales for all three series.

Following the huge success of the first three seasons of Secrets in the Ice, which now airs in over 50 territories, Boat Rocker has secured a deal with Shark Teeth Films to greenlight a fourth season of the show. Currently in production and available Fall 2024, the series uncovers secrets and mysteries which have been frozen in time in the coldest places on earth - from the windswept Steppes of Central Russia to the foreboding depths of the Bering Strait.

Using cutting-edge CGI, archive footage and expert interviews, "Discovered by Disaster" examines mysterious curiosities which have been uncovered by extreme weather and calamitous incidents. Delivering in Fall 2024, the series delves deep to expose secrets once hidden from human eyes - from medieval skeletons to Mayan hieroglyphics and sunken shipwrecks to lost cities.

Exploring the blurred lines between science and the enigmatic, "Secrets in the Dark" (delivering Spring 2025) sheds light on unusual discoveries which turn up in dark isolated locations. From the depths of ancient tombs to the mysteries of cursed artefacts, the series unearths unsettling mysteries that challenge our understanding of the world.

Natalie Vinet, SVP Global Distribution, Boat Rocker Studios praised the work of their partners: “The team at Shark Teeth Films have an amazing antenna for finding the most extraordinary stories in the most remote and inhospitable places on Earth. These enthralling new series will reveal ground-breaking and spine-tingling discoveries with widespread appeal which are going to delight and thrill audiences around the world," commented.

Adrian Carter and Tom Mudd, Founders and Executive Producers of Shark Teeth Films thanked for the support received:At Shark Teeth Films, we are laser-focused on creating premium access-driven documentary franchises and unscripted content for global audiences. We would like to thank Boat Rocker for their support in bringing these new and established series to fruition”, noted.
