3D Sparrow, creators of the internationally renowned franchise "Booba", together with distribution partner Kedoo Entertainment, announce that a brand-new sixth season titled "Booba & Loola" (26 x 7-minute episodes) has been officially greenlit and is now in production. The new season will premiere on Disney+ in early 2026, with broader distribution available at the same time. This highly anticipated season features a brand-new lead character, Loola, the first female Booba. Her confidence, bravery, and wit shine as she and Booba embark on new adventures, bringing a fresh dynamic and stronger gender balance to the storytelling.

Alongside Loola, the new season also introduces Tiny Booba, a mischievous mini Booba inspired by fan-favourite tropes from global kids’ series. His irresistible cuteness and lovable energy are designed to engage global audiences, particularly in Asian markets.

Olivier Bernard, COO and Co-Founder at Kedoo Entertainment, praised the franchise: “Booba’s phenomenal success proves how digital-first content can spark worldwide engagement and growth. The arrival of Loola and Tiny Booba unlocks exciting new character development and audience connections, and we look forward to showcasing this next chapter to buyers at MIPCOM," noted.

"Booba" is a non-dialogue animated comedy targeted at children aged 2–8 and their families. Through humorous adventures, it delivers soft educational values like empathy and resilience. With Booba and his friends serving as models, the series helps children learn to navigate challenges, celebrate differences, and build connections with others.

From its origin as a YouTube sensation, "Booba" has grown into a global hit with 22 billion views and 20 million subscribers. Ranked among Netflix’s top 10 kids’ animated titles and #1 in the comedy genre, the series is also available on international and local streaming platforms including Disney+, HBO Max, Prime Video, and most recently STARZPLAY in MENA, as well as television channels such as ejunior in the UAE and many others across more than 45 countries. The new series offers an expansion with fresh storytelling designed to entertain and educate preschool audiences around the world.
