ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones unveiled the new corporate identity of Audiovisual from Spain, the umbrella brand that brings together the country’s entire audiovisual production offer for its international communication and promotion. This rebranding, which also covers the rest of the brands related to the Spanish audiovisual industry, aims to create synergies between them and provide them with greater breadth and strength by agglutinating their capabilities in the international market.

The new design, carried out by the Barcelona studio TwoPoints.Net for the Audiovisual from Spain brands (including the sub-brands Cinema from Spain and Docs From Spain), Animation from Spain, Games from Spain and Shooting in Spain, keeps a unity between them and keeps at the same time its sectoral specificity.

To achieve this, the designers have formed a typographic family of symbols: Audiovisual, Cinema and Docs share a symbol (the dot) to maintain their closest link; while Shooting, Games and Animation have their own symbols (square, diamond, and star, respectively) but at the same time they continue to belong to the group.

This renewed brand image is linked to the key audiovisual values: creativity, professionalism, talent and variety. The proposal consolidates a homogeneous and consistent identity, recognizable by companies, markets and media, which positions Audiovisual from Spain as a benchmark in supporting the internationalization of Spanish audiovisual within the global ecosystem.

The initiative is framed within the context of the “Plan España Hub Audiovisual de Europa” for the promotion of Spanish audiovisual, and with it ICEX wishes to reinforce an integrated and unified vision of all the sectoral brands used in events and specific activities in the audiovisual field, which includes television, cinema, animation, documentaries, video games, visual effects, licenses, attraction of filming, and investments or internationalization of talent.
