BBC Studios appoints General Manager for the CEE

Bartosz Witak assumes leadership of the Warsaw office to drive regional business expansion. He will have a mandate to oversee and manage the P&L

BBC Studios have announced the appointment of Bartosz Witak as the General Manager for the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. With a mandate to oversee and manage the P&L, Bartosz brings over two decades of experience to drive growth and innovation in this dynamic market. As the newly appointed GM, Bartosz Witak is set to leverage his industry knowledge to explore new opportunities across BBC Studios business - branded services, content sales and digital. His focus on developing strategic partnerships across the broader CEE region aligns with BBC Studios' vision for expansion and diversification. Bartosz will be based in Warsaw and will report into Arran Tindall, Chief Commercial Officer, EVP, EMEA Key Markets.

Bartosz’s career includes a role as the Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Central, Eastern, and Southern Europe and Israel during his sixteen-year tenure at ViacomCBS (now Paramount). Leading teams of experts across multiple offices, including Warsaw, Budapest, Prague, Tel Aviv, and London, he played a key role in the company contributing to consistent revenue growth. Following his time at ViacomCBS, Bartosz transitioned into the role of Senior Business Adviser, providing insights and strategic direction to international companies and investors in the media industry over the last four years. His focus on identifying growth opportunities and optimizing operations has solidified his reputation as a respected industry executive.
