"Welcome To The Family"
Last night’s primetime launch of the new reality guessing game show "Welcome To The Family" (locally known as ‘Welkom In De Familie’) achieved an impressive market share of 35,1% in the key 18-44 demographic on the Belgium channel VTM, which marks a whopping increase of more than 55,3% in comparison to the slot average of 22,6% (18-44, Live + Vosdal YTD on Wednesdays)!
The format is globally distributed by Be-Entertainment and in each episode, a contestant wakes up in an unknown family’s home, where he or she will have to take the place of one of the family members for the next few days. It’s down to the contestant to find out as much as possible about the person they’ve replaced, because the more they know, the more money they’ll win. If they manage to select the correct person from a lineup, they’ll head home with the cash! But… if they pick the wrong person, the family takes home the prize.
