"Destination X"
Danish broadcaster Danmarks Radio has signed on for a local adaptation of adventure reality competition "Destination X", marking the seventh territory where the format was sold by Be-Entertainment. The upcoming Danish ‘Destination X’ is set to air on DR later this year.
The Danish version will be produced by Banijay company Mastiff, in collaboration with X-line, the dedicated line production company for the format. Filming is currently underway for the Danish series, whilst X-line have just wrapped up the recordings of the German version of ‘Destination X’ together with Red Seven, as commissioned by Prosieben.
Despite being a relatively new adventure reality format, "Destination X" has already secured an impressive array of commissions. The series has been aired in Belgium, France and The Netherlands, with productions currently in progress for the UK and US, for the BBC and NBC respectively.
