DISNEY+ APPOINTS CHRIS LOVEALL TO OVERSEE INTERNATIONAL CONTENT

Loveall, who was VP of international programming for AMC Networks, also handled important roles in content production with Sky and ABC Australia, as well as ABC Signature Studios and The CW.

Chris Loveall, a well-known senior programming executive with ample experience in media, joined the recently launched streaming platform Disney+, as Vice President of International Content. Loveall, who was VP of international programming for AMC Networks, also handled important roles in content production with Sky and ABC Australia, as well as ABC Signature Studios and The CW.

In this new role within Disney+, Chris Loveall will work with regional teams developing new programming and will be reporting directly to Matt Brodlie, senior vice president for international content development. "I am very excited to become part of the Disney Plus team, I can't wait to work with them to identify and develop stories that will connect with fans around the world." Added Loveall.

Since its launch last November 12th, Disney Plus is available in the United States, and by way of trial in the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Other markets will be added at the end of March 2020.
