US-based PBS International has hired BBC Studios executive Eniela Bella to work across its coproductions and distribution efforts. In this way, Bella becomes director of coproduction finance & sales and will set strategy, forecasting, and negotiations for co-financing of non-scripted projects with a focus on the French and German markets.

The executive will also manage existing client partnerships and expand production financing prospects while leading PBS's sales efforts in Eastern Europe. Bella was most recently BBCS's sales manager for Central and Eastern Europe, Italy, and the Middle East/North Africa, and before that, she held roles at Drive Media Rights, Twofour Group, and Hat Trick Productions.

Bella will attend MIPTV in April for PBS International, which sells kids and factual shows, including docs from PBS strands Nova, Frontline, and Nature. It also operates six streaming channels outside of the US. Tracy Beckett, the commissioning editor for coproductions & acquisitions at PBS International, praised the track record of the new addition: "[Bella's] extensive experience and proven track record in sales and coproduction financing make her the perfect fit for this role," commented.

At BBC Studios, Bella was the sales manager for Central and Eastern Europe, Italy, and MENA. Prior to BBC Studios, she held senior roles at Drive Media Rights, Twofour Group, and Hat Trick Productions.
