Espresso Media International have signed a number of sales with broadcasters across Asian and MENA territories. “We are thrilled to be extending our long-standing relationship with NHK and delighted it’s on a film as remarkable as 'On Broadway', a romantic and heroic love letter to Broadway, which has no shortage of star power,” says Jess Reilly, Head of Sales and Acquisitions; “then PCCW have acquired seven titles from us across a range of important themes and genres. Plus, Asharq have acquired another cutting-edge science documentary from us, further solidifying our reach in MENA.”

Espresso have licensed "On Broadway" (1x52’) to Japan’s public service broadcaster NHK. Directed by Academy Award nominee Oren Jacoby, legends of the stage and screen including Helen Mirren and Hugh Jackman take us behind the scenes of Broadway’s most beloved showers, and tell the inside story of the last time Broadway theatre came back from the brink.

To MENA broadcaster Asharq News, Espresso have also licensed ground-breaking new space documentary "Off Earth" (1x52’), examining the dawn of the new era of space travel – from pioneering commercial flights such as those flown on by Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos, to Elon Musk’s reusable rockets.

In Hong Kong, Now TV have taken nine hours of content from Espresso’s catalogue across a number of genres. The package of seven documentaries includes "Beirut Blast: The Story of Warehouse 12" (1x90’), reliving the Beirut tragedy through interviews and footage of both the event and the aftermath; and "Student Athlete" (1x92’), which unveils the exploitative world of high-revenue college sports through the stories of four young & highly ranked basketball and football players at different stages in their athletic careers, a coach turned advocate, and a whistle-blowing shoe rep who exposes the money trail.
