With a record volume of productions forecast over the coming months and in order to manage the challenges of its fast expansion, both in France and worldwide, Federation (headed by Pascal Breton and co-directed by Lionel Uzan) announced actions to further strengthen its finance team, as well as a strategic addition to its staff in the form of Julie Gualino Daly, who will be working as Group Chief Financial Officer.

Julie Gualino Daly will continue building the Group’s Finance function. Working very closely with Benoit Lacombe, the group’s COO, she will actively participate in its financing strategy, and will supervise the M&A aspect of its business in order to promote further growth. Before joining Federation, Julie worked for four years for the Solocal Group as Director of Finance & Treasury, Purchasing & Real Estate, Investor Relations. Reporting to Pascal Breton, Gualino Daly will also manage the group’s financial management with the help of all the company’s Finance, Accounting & Treasury departments.

In addition, these areas will also be welcoming new team members: Jessica Role (ex-Banijay) is joining Federation as its Multi-Perimeter Financial Director, working in particular with some of Federation’s branches in the United States and Europe. Moreover, Mathieu Lapasset (formerly with Danone) is coming on board as Group Treasurer, while Marlène Laussinotte (ex-Allianz) is also joining the group as Director of Consolidation.

Concurrently, Federation Entertainment will be renamed Federation Studios, to better “federate” its various fields of activity and businesses. Its logo will also be upgraded to better reflect the power and scope of the group. It will be red, denoting “boldness,” according to the company.

These announcements also coincide with Ecran Total’s ranking of France’s top fiction producers (based on broadcast volume), which put Federation Studios France in first place for the second year running, and Empreinte Digitale in second place, with Federation Studios coming second in the overall groups ranking.
