Federation announces new event series "Rematch." The six-part miniseries about chess is being filmed in Montreal and Budapest until 15 December 2022. The show is created by Yan England, André Gulluni and Bruno Nahon, screenplayed by André Gulluni and Yan England, and directed by Yan England.
It is initiated and produced by Bruno Nahon Coproduction: ARTE France, Unité, and Federation Studios Quebec director & actor and Oscar-nominee Yan England (1:54, Sam, True North, and The Red Band Society) is filming the series he created with André Gulluni (Sam, Rock Paper Scissors, The Sketch Artist) that’s been initiated and produced by ARTE France and French producer Bruno Nahon (Unité), with Federation Studios. Federation Studios is tasked with all worldwide rights to the series.
Based on a true story, "Rematch" shows the inside world of high-level chess competition, starring Christian Cooke, Sarah Bolger, Trine Dyrholm, Aidan Quinn, Tom Austen, Luke Pasqualino, and Orion Lee. The event prompted the New York Times to print: “The future of humanity is on the line.” The miniseries boasts a prestigious international cast: Christian Cooke, Sarah Bolger, Trine Dyrholm, Aidan Quinn (Elementary, Legends of the Fall), Tom Austen (The Royals), Luke Pasqualino, and Orion Lee.
