FREECAST SIGNS DEAL WITH GENIUS BRANDS TO OFFER KARTOON CHANNEL

The 4,000 episodes worth of premium content, available worldwide on the channel, is intended for kids aged 2-11 years old. It will be available on select TV, free of ads, as well as its own digital channels available on major cable and satellite systems.

FreeCast signed an agreement with Genius Brands International, Inc. for the children's channel, Kartoon Channel!, to FreeCast's SelectTV and other SmartGuide-driven services. "Our partnership with FreeCast provides us with a tremendous opportunity to further expand our reach through their SelectTV and SmartGuide services to deliver our premium content to kids in the U.S. and Canada,” Caroline Tyre, SVP International Distribution & Head of Kartoon Channel! said.

Kartoon Channel! is a digital channel targeted at childen aged 2 to 11-years-old to access over 4,000 episodes of premium entertaining and educational content anytime. "The Kartoon Channel! is a great addition to our service,” CEO William Mobley of FreeCast said.

Genius Brands has released premium content for children and families through major broadcasters worldwide, as well as its own digital channels available on major cable and satellite systems, and a multitude of other online distribution platforms. Kartoon Channel! will be available to SelectTV subscribers with no ads. 

SelectTV is referred to as a replacement for TV, offering content for children and families, as well as educational and entertaining programming.”We work hard to make sure we have content that caters to everyone, all age groups, the whole family," Mobley said.
