Gaumont Germany to adapt KOTV Distribution's "Plan B" for ZDF

The Canadian drama series from KOTV, "Plan B" is being adapted by Gaumont Germany (Sabine de Mardt and Andreas Bareiss) for the public channel ZDF. This represents the first remake of a Québécois original drama series in the country.

The German version is the fourth international adaptation and is adapted by Ingrid Kaltenegger and Mika Kallwass, starring Katja Riemann and Hannah Schiller. Directors are Isa Prahl and Eoin Moore. Remakes were produced in France (TF1), Belgium (STREAMZ) and English Canada, where the series aired on CBC with Patrick J Adams and Karine Vanasse.

Canadian "Plan B" is co–written by Jean Francois Asselin and Jacques Drolet. This high-impact drama series tells the tale of what would happen if you could travel back in time and fix events using your “Plan B”. In Canada, the 5th season is currently in development for the channel Radio Canada.
