“In Her Car” (10 x half hour) follows the journey of Lydia (“How is Katia?” Anastasia Karpenko), who embarks on a mission to bring people to safety following the Russian invasion in February 2022. The Ukrainian drama series focuses on the emotional and social effects of war, blending personal stories with cinematic authenticity to underscore the resilience of the human spirit amid the chaos. Filmed in war-torn Ukraine, “In Her Car” will celebrate its world premiere on February 19th in Berlin as part of a special event dedicated to the future of Ukraine in Europe, hosted by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
