Globo strengthens international commercial presence in strategic markets

Pablo Ghiglione, Globo’s Head of International Coproduction, will now also serve as Head of International Sales. Moreover, Rodrigo Nascimento has been appointed Head of International Sales.

Globo’s International Business division has announced a restructuring aimed at getting even closer to strategic markets, expanding opportunities to bring its content to new audiences.

Pablo Ghiglione, Globo’s Head of International Coproduction, will now also serve as Head of International Sales, focusing on the Americas and Asia, and reporting to Angela Colla. With over 15 years at Globo, Pablo has led significant deals with a wide range of media groups and companies around the world. In his new role, he will continue to lead coproduction efforts and will also be responsible for the team of executives seeking new licensing partnerships, content distribution, format sales, and other business models.

Meanwhile, Rodrigo Nascimento has been appointed Head of International Sales – EMEA, based in Portugal, also reporting to Angela Colla. Leading a team of local executives, he is responsible for licensing agreements, content distribution, format sales, and other business ventures in those territories. Rodrigo has been with Globo for 19 years, with experience in technology, strategy, and business areas.

Globo’s products have been licensed to the international market since 1976, reaching more than 160 territories and translated into 70 languages. Known for its technical excellence, the company has received over 90 International Emmy nominations and has won 18 times.
