Globo confirmed plans to attend Content London with its latest releases, including telenovelas, series, and successful formats. “We will bring a varied portfolio, to show that we meet different solutions and market needs. We have everything from ready-made products, with telenovelas, series, and documentaries, to formats in which our content can be adapted for local versions," Gabriel Doria, Content Distribution and Partnerships said.

Further reinforcing the portfolio, the company will hold the first global screening of the Globoplay Original, "The Game," a working title, within the event's official program, on the 28th, at 1 p.m., in Hall 4, at Kings Place. In Brazil, the attraction will be presented and have a special activation at the Globoplay booth during CCXP, one of the biggest pop culture events in the world, which will be held in São Paulo, in December 2023. "We know the strength and universality of our stories and we want to reach more and more new audiences with them and generate engagement with this audience," Doria said. "Additionally, we are excited to have an international premiere of ‘The Game’, which is also a way of reinforcing the quality of our content."

Created by José Junior, by AfroReggae Audiovisual, "The Game" portrays the emergence of drug trafficking factions, based on events that took place in Rio de Janeiro over the last 40 years. With general direction from Heitor Dhalia, the Globoplay Originals story features names like Rômulo Braga, Jonathan Azevedo, Babu Santana, Ravel Andrade, Pedro Wagner, Bukassa Kabengele, among others.

Other Globoplay Originals titles in the portfolio for Content London are "The Others," Globoplay's most popular series in Brazil, and the third season of "Anti-Kidnapping Unit," a production of action, suspense, and tension that follows a turbulent routine of Rio de Janeiro's Anti-Kidnapping Division. Among the telenovelas, one of the highlights is ‘Land of Desire’, currently aired in prime time on Globo. Written by Walcyr Carrasco, Emmy winner with ‘Hidden Truths’, the show reached approximately 32 million people per day in the first fifteen weeks of broadcast.

To take its content to local adaptations, the company is also investing in the sale of hit formats such as "Total Dreamer," "The Favorite," "The Life We Lead," and "Hidden Truths." Reinforcing this movement, Globo recently announced the sale of the ‘Brazil Avenue’ format to Turkish producer Ay Yapim.  Expanding its presence on the European continent, Globo recently announced sales of ‘Pantanal’, this year's Emmy-nominated telenovela, to Poland; ‘Never Give Up’ to Poland and Bulgaria; and ‘All The Flowers’, nominated for a Rose d'Or, to Armenia.
