Globo will be present at NATPE Budapest from August 24 to 27 with a robust portfolio, which mixes classic telenovelas and recent successes in short formats, which attracts audiences with stories in tune with all cultures. One of the highlights of the catalog is the soap opera "A Life Worth Living", which has just been licensed to Grupo Albavisión and will be broadcast on its channels in Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Honduras.

Launched this year on the international market, the modern fairy tale written by Rosane Svartman and Paulo Halm shows how precious life is. Paloma (Grazi Mazzafera, from ‘The Other Side of Paradise’), a seamstress and mother of three, had her exam mistakenly replaced by a patient with a terminal illness and thinks she has only six months to live. When the mistake is undone, she decides to change her life and go in search of Alberto (Antonio Fagundes, from ‘Irrational Heart’), the businessman who is really on the verge of death. Having a passion for literature as something that moves them, both build a friendship capable of giving a new meaning to their lives, restoring the pleasure of living.

The telenovela was so successful in Brazil reaching audiences that the authors wrote extra scenes for the replay of its last chapter, something unprecedented on Globo. Recently, the product was shown in Croatia and is also currently on air in Portugal, where it has been pleasing the public. In the country, the telenovela increased its audience by 64%, leading its time slot almost every day.

Another Globo bet for NATPE Budapest, ‘Unsoul’, original Globoplay series written by Ana Paula Maia and directed by Carlos Manga Jr. (‘Aruanas’), is a supernatural thriller set in a small and mysterious city of Ukrainian colonization, where an event 30 years ago is back to haunt the population. In this suspense, full of mysticism, the mysteries multiply in an enigma difficult to be deciphered until the surprising revelation of how they are connected. ‘Unsoul’ stands out for its distinctive aesthetic, that resembles the landscapes of Eastern European countries, in addition to addressing local legends.
