"Up the Dish"
Gusto TV announces the international premiere of "Up the Dish" (20×30), a new culinary series co-hosted by four chefs that reworks a classic recipe and presents three variations of the iconic dish. "Up the Dish" will debut on Monday, March 7th, with the second half becoming available this fall.
Each half-hour episode of "Up the Dish," Tiera Singh, Poppy Sandler, Missy Hui, and Micah Trainor cook a classic version of the featured dish, followed by an alternate version, a vegan or vegetarian option, and a show-stopping, over-the-top five-star dish or a delicious dessert.
“'Up The Dish' introduces Missy, Micah, Poppy, and Tiera - four fresh faces and new talent to the Gusto TV family," says Keren Jackman, Senior Producer at Gusto Worldwide Media. "Having this many hosts with different personalities, food backgrounds, and expertise was not only a pleasure to produce but even more fun to watch!”
NO DEAL WITH RUSSIA
On the other hand, Gusto TV has announced it is declining the pending content agreement with Russian television company Red Media. “Gusto TV and its content are seen in over 160 countries, including Russia. In light of recent events, we are canceling our deal with Red Media,” said Chris Knight, President and CEO of Gusto Worldwide Media. “We are very proud of what we do, but at the end of the day, it’s just television.”
