Krynn Wrigley, International Sales Manager of the Canadian distributor talked about the ambitious expansion strategies of the company and highlighted the best food titles for the spring season.

Gusto Worldwide Media has spent the last year laser focused on launching the Gusto branded channels and further developing its reach internationally. "Gusto is now available in English, Mandarin and Spanish and can be seen all over the world; Singapore, Philippines, Latin America, UK, USA and Canada," said Krynn Wrigley, International Sales Manager, to Señal News.

Despite the current international situation of quarantine, the Canadian distributor is doing its part to bring its food content to as wide a global audience as possible. "We’re aiming to do this by revamping our B2B and B2C channels and with the launch of our e-commerce platform," affirmed the executive.

Talking about the distribution strategies, Wrigley recognized that will see some changes given the uncertainty around travel and markets. "However, our focus is still on breaking new ground internationally. We’ll certainly be relying on technology more than ever and will need to find new ways to communicate without us all having to be in the same room. We have the technology – now let’s utilize it!," asserted. 

FUNNY AND TASTY SPRING SLATE

For the spring season, Gusto Worldwide Media is offering its most recent productions being "Watt’s on the Grill" (Season 2), "Let’s Brunch" (Season 2) and the much-anticipated "Cook Like a Chef" reboot. "We’ve also green lit 3 additional series that are expected to start shooting in the next couple of months," International Sales Manager added.

The executive asserted that Gusto is unique because produces 100% of the content that the people see on its live stream channels and VOD platforms. "This has been a tremendous advantage as we grow the brand internationally. However, we are now looking for co-production partners as we anticipate shooting in multiple markets in 2021," she concluded.
