Turkish content distributor Inter Medya has announced a new round of sales in Colombia, reinforcing its strategic expansion in the Latin American market. The co-production “Heartstrings” has been acquired by Caracol Televisión, one of the country’s largest free-to-air broadcasters. This marks a significant placement in one of Latin America’s most influential TV markets.
In addition to the broadcast deal, Caracol’s OTT platform DITU has licensed three of Inter Medya’s popular titles: “Heartstrings,” “Hicran,” and “Mrs. Fazilet and Her Daughters.” The acquisition expands the reach of Turkish drama content to digital audiences in Colombia, underscoring the genre’s growing popularity across multiple platforms.
Inter Medya’s continued momentum in the region coincides with its participation at Mip Cancun, taking place November 18–21. As part of its presence at the market, the company will host the Latin American premiere of its acclaimed drama “Halef” on November 19 at 12:00 PM at the Cancun Theatre.
