ITV Studios’ award-winning quiz show "The Chase" is expanding its reach in Central Eastern Europe. The format has been commissioned by NOVA in Bulgaria and by Markiza in Slovakia. "The Chase" recently launched successfully in the Czech Republic, and they have extended more than double in length - from 90 episodes to 215 episodes. In Serbia, the 10th series has been ordered.

Also in other parts of the world, "The Chase", created by Potato, part of ITV Studios and internationally distributed by ITV Studios, is doing incredibly well. The show was nominated for the prestigious BAFTA Award in the UK, and won a TV Academy Award in Israel.  Israel will start with its 6th season shortly. In the U.S.A, a second series has been ordered following a very successful first season on ABC.

A race for knowledge and money

"The Chase" isn’t just a quiz, it’s a race where players must outrun some of the finest quiz brains in the country, The Chasers. A team of four strangers face tough, quick-fire questions individually to build up their team’s prize money. But to make it back to their team, they must go head-to-head with the Chasers and beat them to the finish line. This established, award-winning format is now a global brand with successful spin-offs including "The Celebrity Chase", "The Family Chase", "The Chase: Kids" and its latest addition, "Beat The Chasers."
