JOYRIDER AND FIREFLY TO PRODUCE "FRUST" COMEDY DRAMA

Joyrider, the indie created by Gábor Krigler, former HBO Hungary drama head, and Firefly, the leading Serbian production house founded by former BBC Serbia producer and Serbian broadcaster Ivana Miković, will produce "Frust", a 6x50 minute offbeat comedy/drama.

With production expected to commence in 2021, "Frust" tells the story of Vedran a struggling young writer who accidentally kills a drug pusher who is terrorising his neighbourhood. Overnight he becomes an anonymous social media superstar, but, deciding to continue his revenge crusade, suffers growing frustration as he cannot reveal his identity to an adoring public.

A distribution deal and additional co-production partners will be announced in due course. "Frust" was created by Srdan Vuletic, a Bosnian writer, whose first feature premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. Srdjan is the chief creative force behind the story, working with story editor Eszter Angyalosy of Joyrider and Firefly’s content leader Boban Jetvic.
