Marc Resteghini
Marc Resteghini, Head of Series Development at Amazon, is exiting the company amid a corporate restructuring of the television production team. The reshuffle will see Resteghini’s remit being shared between Head of Creative Content, Nick Pepper, and Head of Series, Laura Lancaster, both reporting to Vernon Sanders, Head of Television.
Resteghini, Pepper and Lancaster assumed their most recent roles early last year as part of another shakeup within Amazon Studios, then led by both Sanders and Albert Cheng, who also was COO. This new realignment marks Sanders’ biggest executive move since he became solo Head of TV and Cheng became a full-time COO last October.
Prior to assuming the top position in February 2021, Resteghini served in various capacities at Amazon Studios, including Head of Drama Series, Head of Current Drama Programming and Senior Executive in the Drama department. During his eight-year tenure, the executive has overseen the development and production of shows such as “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan,” “The Underground Railroad,” “Them,” “Hunters,” “The Wilds,” “Panic,” “The Man in the High Castle,” “Goliath,” and “Patriot.”
