“MASTERCHEF CELEBRITY” TO RETURN FOR SECOND SEASON IN ARGENTINA

Last season’s grand finale, broadcasted last week on Telefe, delivered record breaking viewing figures and became the most watched of programme of the year with a peak share of over 80%.

Banijay Rights announced a second celebrity series of “MasterChef Celebrity Argentina” for Telefe, a ViacomCBS brand. Last season’s grand finale, broadcasted last week on the Argentinian free TV channel, delivered record breaking viewing figures and became the most watched of programme of the year, with a peak share of over 80%.

Throughout the series, “MasterChef Celebrity Argentina” consistently outperformed the slot, with an average share of 76.33%. It was the most watched show of 2020 in Argentina and ranked #1 of free-to-air TV programs. On social networks, “MasterChef Celebrity” exceeded 400 million video views via Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter.
