Mediawan Rights' dramas get new global sales

In house dramas series have sold to Discovery Italy; MHZ in US and All Media Latvia in Baltic States whereas others drama series went to multiple territories.

Mediawan Rights has announced the latest sales of its drama line-up. In house drama series "Mismatch", (Troisième Œil Productions/12x52’), currently broadcasted on France 3 (France Télévisions), and Season 5 of Tandem (DEMD Productions/12x52’) were bought by Discovery Italy. Furthermore, "Unclaimed" (Storia Television/6x52’), "Mismatch", "The code" (Making Prod/6x52’), "Cheeky Business" (Mon Voisin Production, Qui Vive !/10x26’) are making their way to the US on MHZ and Season 6 of "Tandem" and Season 1 of "Lakeside Murders" (Aito Media, Nelonen, Elisa/10x45’) were sold to All Media Latvia (Baltic States).

On the other hand, other drama series like "Missions" (Empreinte Digitale/30x26’) was bought by NBCUniversal in Spain, after being sold to AMC (US), BBC (UK), Rai (Italy), RTL Passion (Germany). "The Machinery" (Anagram Sweden, Film i Väst/8x60’) was recently sold to the Canal+ group for France and to Nent for the following territories: the US, the UK, Spain, Benelux, Germany, the Middle East, Australia, and New-Zealand. The drama is already available in Japan, Poland, India, and Indonesia. Mediawan Rights is also negotiating for a US remake.

While the format’s adaptation of the Belgian series "Beau Séjour" (De Mensen) was sold to Sky Studios for a UK remake, "The Rising", which will be launched on Sky Max and NOW on April 22. A major deal was also finalized with Olympusat which includes 24 programs from Mediawan Rights’ line-up such as "Research Unit"(Auteurs Associés/163x52’) and "Cain" (DEMD Productions/68x52’). The series and films will be available in Latin America.
