This first season follows Emma (Vivild Falk Berg,), a newly graduated physiotherapist who has just bought her first apartment with her fiancé, Niko (Deniz Kaya). She dreams of a small wedding, but Niko’s large extended family makes it painfully clear how small her own is: no siblings, no father, only her mother, Mona. Her world is turned upside down when she discovers she is the secret daughter of shipping magnate Ludvig “Doddo” Bullmann. Suddenly included in his will and thrust into equal standing with four siblings she never knew existed, Emma must confront questions of wealth, legacy, and belonging—while realizing that the family she has always longed for may not want her at all.
