The deal involves a licence for streaming rights to Spanish-language versions of two of the main titles Mondo TV Studios distributes, including the first 13 episodes x 22’ of Mondo TV "S.p.A library: Agent 203" and the first 26 episodes x 11’ of "Monster Loving Maniacs." The titles are making their Spanish-language debut in US Hispanic and Latin America through Canela Kids in November. This is the latest in a number of agreements through which Mondo TV Studios has extended its content and distribution capabilities into markets across North America and Latin America.

"Agent 203," created by Damjan Mitrevski, Jo Daris and Ulli Stoef, is a thrilling, funny and inventive new kids’ animation in 3D CGI aimed a boys and girls aged 6-10 years old. The world’s first ‘spy-fi’ show was commissioned by Germany’s Super RTL, which will launch the first series from beginning of 2024, and is a co-production between Toon2Tango, Mondo TV and Cosmos Maya Animation. The show is distributed by Toon2Tango and Mondo TV.

Mondo TV Studios has taken care of the storyboard design. Italy’s public broadcaster Rai Kids has pre-acquired "Agent 203" with plans to premiere this unique adventure-comedy on its free-to-air children’s station Rai Gulp from the beginning of 2024. In fact, it has been bought by major broadcasters across Poland (TVP abc), MENA (MBC3), Minimax for Central and Eastern Europe and ITVX Kids for the UK. Many more deals are on the way.

“So, my dad was a secret agent?," Zoe Stranek is surprised when she finds out her dad didn’t work at Starbucks, but used to be an intergalactic agent, protecting our planet against alien invasions. So when Ulav, her dad’s old partner and weird comedic alien, tells her this, she decides to follow in her father's footsteps. Together with her new alien bestie, and her best friends Quigley and Rock, she protects our planet from General Gore, the ultimate badass alien, in memory of her beloved father.

"Monster Loving Maniacs" is an animated comedy for 6-10-year-olds. It is exciting and funny, has lots of monsters and it looks amazing. It also touches on bigger themes, like families, relationships and coping with our fears. The title is produced by Ja Film and co-produced by Mondo TV, Belvision, and Ginger Pictures. It was commissioned by leading broadcasters Super RTL & DR and has been pre-sold to NRK & SVT. Mondo TV and Toon2Tango are responsible for the global distribution. It had its worldwide premiere on CBBC in the UK in October 2022 and a batch of new episodes launched around Easter. The show has ranked consistently among CBBC’s top shows with a peak of 40% linear market share and  the top spot!

In "Monster Loving Maniacs," viewers are invited to join Edith, Ernest and Bo, three siblings who are being trained asmonster hunters by their tough old grandfather. These kids are massive horror fans who love dangerous paranormal creatures, which doesn’t quite match their grandfather’s old-school ideas. So, as soon as grandpa takes one of his many naps, they look for a way to save the monsters rather than hunt them.

“The buzz around Agent 203 and Monster Loving Maniacs is getting stronger – and I’m not surprised," Maria Bonaria Fois, CEO of Mondo TV Studios, said. "We feel both shows have the great storylines, animations, jokes and characters kids love – but also stand out for their unique and appealing ideas and themes. We’re delighted that Canela Media, a leading company in its field with a strong audience reach, feels the same way.”

We are delighted to continue our partnership with Mondo TV Studios. These two new premieres are in line with our mission to bring adventure and family stories through high quality premieres to our Hispanic audiences.” Maggie Salas Amaro Director of Canela Kids
